The Thai military is planning to carry out another attack on Cambodia on the night of August 13, 2025, and in the morning of August 14, 2025. According to reliable sources, the Thai army has mobilized many troops and a large amount of weaponry, including several tanks, into the Cambodia–Thailand border area. The same source claimed that at 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2025, the Thai army closed schools and sent students home in order to prepare for the evacuation of residents from Dan Village, Dan Commune, Kap Choeng District, Surin Province, to safer locations.

This Thai act of aggression constitutes a serious violation of the ceasefire agreement reached during the special meeting on July 28, 2025, and of the decisions made during the extraordinary session of the General Border Committee (GBC) on August 7, 2025, in Malaysia.
