Phnom Penh, Cambodia — Samdech Moha Rathsaphea Theikapheakdey Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has issued a strong and unequivocal condemnation against Thailand’s military aggression and acts of invasion targeting Cambodia’s sovereignty.
According to the official statement, Thailand carried out airstrikes using F-16 fighter jets, heavy weapons, and chemical smoke on December 7 and 8, 2025, across multiple areas along the border. The most heavily affected zones include regions within Preah Vihear Province, Banteay Meanchey Province, and Oddar Meanchey Province.
The attacks resulted in civilian deaths, numerous injuries, and extensive destruction of public infrastructure and private property in Cambodia. The National Assembly President emphasized that Thailand’s actions constitute a serious violation of Cambodia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international peace agreements.
Samdech Khuon Sudary firmly condemned the assaults as unjustified acts of aggression, calling for accountability and urging the international community to closely monitor the situation and support Cambodia’s efforts to maintain peace and stability.
